First week after election, recap and what's to come

As you have probably seen already, a new Yellow Hill 2 episode has been released. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7DSnAMu1TjM&t=1519s). Quite some things have happened, and there is a lot more to come. In this post, we'll recap what has been achieved this week, and what is yet to come.

New road projects:

During the last few days, two new projects have been done to improve the traffic flow in Ternat.

- Highway interchange

A new highway interchange has been built, connecting the south highway, with one of the national roads connecting Ternat and Bergburg. It was made to relieve stress from the highway and internal road net, providing people with an extra way to get into Ternat and Bergburg. Previously, all traffic coming from the highway going to one of these towns, would pass through the same intersection. This caused traffic backups, especially during rush hour. With the new intersection, this situation has been greatly improved.

- Roundabout renovation

As Ternat will be receiving more traffic coming from the new highway interchange, it has to be made sure that the road infrastructure in the village itself can support this. That's why one of Ternat's roundabouts has been renovated. The following changes have been made:

- The roads leading up to the roundabout were re-asphalted. Some of them were very worn and not well-suited for large volumes of traffic.

- An extra turning lane has been made for the traffic coming from the highway, that is going in the direction of the train station. This ensures that traffic coming from the highway or from Bergburg will be split up, improving traffic flow.

- Road markings have been added and refreshed. For safety purposes and for ease of use, lane arrows, lines, and yield triangles have been added. The pre-existing zebra crossings have been repainted to improve pedestrian safety, as they were faded and difficult to see for traffic passing through the roundabout.

- New allotments have been made available

As of last episode, six residential plots, four business plots, and two farm plots have been put up for sale. As usual, these were sold out within ten minutes. For new plots, we will have to wait until next episode, or if you have a request for a small piece of land that isn't put up for sale, you can contact @Dylaaann#9999 on Discord. Medium high rise is now also available on select plots in consultation with me.

What is yet to come:

- More land

more allotments will be sold next episode.

- Renovation projects

I am currently working together with multiple companies, coming up with ideas on how to renovate the old market and the school. You will hear more about this once we reach a later stage of development.

- Contracts for services

New contracts with companies are in the works, which will provide Ternatians with services, moving away from contracts with outside cities.

- Beginnings of public transport network

LnadTV, 2ble_Daredevil and I are working together to establish a public transport network. I am also using my personal company: Schell Investments, to support the funding of this project. We are planning on creating a bus network that connects multiple locations in Ternat with St. Peter. All-new electric buses will be used, which will be produced in Ternat.

- Discount on residential areas

I am currently still working on a system to provide business owners with a discount on their residential builds. For the time being, if you have a residential area that is ready to be built, let me know and I can make you an offer.
