A lot of things have happened in the last weeks, and a lot of things will happen in the near future. Here's an overview of the most notable projects and events that have been completed, and are being worked on.
Projects and complaints that have been addressed:
- More (residential) plots
Along with numerous new residential and business plots inside of Ternat, a new area has been built in Ternat's surroundings. Along with YHHI as construction company, we have built a new neighbourhood to the south of Ternat. This new area brings a lot of mixed-use buildings for companies to invest in. For more information on the area and what buildings are available, you can see the map of Ternat on the YH website.
- Road upgrades
Many complaints have come in about Adell street. This previously unpaved road, has been annoying residents for a while, making their cars dirty. With this in mind, and the fact that the traffic situation has been getting worse, and a bus line goes through this street, it was time for a change. That is why I have decided to pave the road, making for a safer, faster, and more comfortable drive when going through this area.
What is currently being worked on:
Currently, I am working together with investors to renovate the market in Ternat. The plans and blueprints have been finished, and construction has started. This project is planned to be finished by the next episode. In the next episode, you can see how it looks.
- New roads have been added around the market to create a roundabout-like structure, improving traffic flow.
- The market structure has been reinforced and improved. There is now also room for trucks and stalls inside, allowing for vendors to sell their goods.
- Bus stops have been added, which will be a part of the Ternat - St. Peter line, and can be used for other lines in the future as well.
- A parking area has been added, removing the need for cars to park on the side of the road.
- Paths and trees have been added around the sides of the market, making the area look nicer and allowing for better access to the market and surrounding residential areas on foot.
What will be coming in the near future:
- Further improvement of the traffic situation
Intersections will be modified, roads improved, and bicycle infrastructure might be added in select locations.
- More renovations
Areas like the school, will be renovated
- More land
More land will be sold in and around Ternat
- More green space and parks
With new investments in Ternat, a lot of trees have been cut. To compensate for this, new trees will be planted, and green spaces like parks will be added.
