Running for mayor

I am Dylan Schell, CEO of Schell Investments. I am excited to announce that I'm running for Mayor of the village of Ternat.

After moving with my company to Ternat and starting multiple businesses there, I've become a part of this community. Since a new term for mayorship is coming up very shortly, I've decided to take part in the election. I have looked at my own observations and experiences, combined with those of other residents, businesses, and Ternat officials. With this in mind, I have made a basic plan for the next term, consisting of four main points.

  The main projects:

1. Improving the traffic situation in Ternat.

If you regularly visit Ternat, you'll probably know all about it. Traffic can often be a mess, especially during rush hour. As the population is growing, this problem is constantly getting bigger. Because of this, I want to improve the traffic situation.

This will be achieved in a multitude of ways. Working together with Yellow Hill Hospitality investments' construction company, we are committed to make a number of changes.

- Roads will be repaired or modified to allow for better traffic flow. New roads will also be added if necessary.

- New policies will come into place, moving all of the through traffic to the larger, higher capacity roads. This will take stress off of the internal road system.

- Companies interested in building facilities that have to do with traffic, (like a road maintenance depot or taxi depot for example.) will be helped with the funding of their new business.

- Ternat will support public transport. As more villages will be built in the surrounding area, I'm committed to get Ternat ready for public transport. Multiple bus stops will be built so Ternat can be linked up to other villages in the future.

2. Working together with companies to move away from outside contracts.

Currently, Ternat is very dependent on other villages. Getting their water, sewage, power, deathcare, etc. from other cities. As a mayor, I would work with already existing companies, building such facilities. This will help the village be more self-sufficient. This will also have good economical benefits in the long run because these services can be offered to surrounding villages at a later point.

3. Discount on building residential areas.

As a mayor, I find it important to keep everything balanced. With an increasing amount of businesses coming to Ternat, it's time for the population to follow. That's why I'm committed to making the construction of residential areas more attractive. This means that the prices for new residential plots will be lowered and a slight discount will be given on the building of residential buildings.

By increasing the population, I'm hoping to bring more customers to the local area, which will be beneficial for all businesses located in and around Ternat.

4. Taking into consideration all ideas and complaints from residents (YouTube viewers).

The reason I'm running for mayor is that I want to do good for all people in Ternat. As I'm trying to do what's best for everyone, I believe it's important to listen to what the people have to say. As a mayor, I will open up a webpage where everyone can send in ideas and complaints. I will look over every single one of these and use them when making future decisions. Often, there will be polls for you to vote on what project you want to be done.

What I stand for

Being there for everyone

My goal is to be there for everyone. For the residents, businesses, workers, and everyone else. All future decisions will be made based on this very principle.

Also thinking about the future, not just the present.

I find it very important to think about the big picture. Ternat will also be there after this term ends after all.

That's why I will start a lot of projects that will benefit the village in the long run, and be sure to leave it in a good state for the next mayor. This way, we can make sure everyone remains happy for a long time to come.

Involving other companies in projects.

As I'm doing my best to give to you: the community, I also want to involve you in projects. A large part of facilities that will be built, will be partially or fully in hands of the companies in Ternat.
